National Theatre Live: The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time Synopsis

The original National Theatre production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time returns to cinemas nationwide, presented by Fathom Events, BY Experience and National Theatre Live on Tuesday, June 12 only at 7:00 p.m. local time. Captured live from the National Theatre in London, this critically acclaimed production directed by Marianne Elliot (Angels in America, War Horse) has received seven Olivier and five Tony Awards®. Based on the acclaimed novel by Mark Haddon and adapted by Simon Stephens. Christopher, fifteen years old, stands beside Mrs. Shears’ dead dog. It has been speared with a garden fork; it is seven minutes after midnight, and Christopher is under suspicion. Exceptionally smart, but ill-equipped to interpret everyday life, he has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, detests being touched and distrusts strangers. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.
