"Knock Off: Revenge on the Logos" is a social commentary about the knock-off industry. While focusing on the buying habits of New Yorkers 'Knock Off' questions the broader logic of the logo frenzy. It traces knock offs from the sweatshops where they are produced, through transport and into New York City warehouses where they are prepared to be sold. The film juxtaposes the deified place of logos in our shopping culture with the lives of sweatshop workers who cannot afford the items they create.
