\n\n\n3D films have come a long way in the last few years. Far from the eye-ache-inducing systems which used to be common in the 1990s, today’s 3D films are vastly improved in terms of both comfort and depth. As our technology improves these effects are only getting better, with certain forward-thinking filmmakers like James Cameron even pushing for glasses-less 3D in future films like his upcoming Avatar sequels. Of course, those are a little while away yet, so in the meantime let’s take a look at some of the new 3D films which are coming very soon.\n\n\n\n"Black Panther Wallpaper" (CC BY 2.0) by Bryan K War\n\nBlack Panther\n\nThe closest of the new batch of Marvel films, Black Panther brings to us the backstory of one of the newest entries into the Marvel hero roster, T'Challa. Set in the hyper-advanced and secretive African nation of Wakanda, this story tells of the problems faced by a new king as he attempts to find his path as a leader, and deal with the various forces which oppose his leadership. Armed with a suit making use of the rare element vibranium, the same element which Captain America has within his shield, as well as a spiritual connection to the Wakandan Panther God, this promises to be one of the more bombastic entries into the wide-ranging series.\n\n\nAvengers: Infinity War\nSpeaking of Marvel, we have this latest main entry into the Avengers series. Bringing in the largest collection of different heroes yet put to screen; this film has the team fighting off the long coming invasion from the mad Titan Thanos. Carrying a major attitude problem, and wielding the infinity gauntlet, Thanos takes to earth to gather the remaining infinity stones which, when collected, boost his already immense power to that of a god. We’re talking mastery of space, time, mind, reality, power and soul here. What exactly does this mean in the context of this film? We can only guess, but we can't wait to see what the minds behind this film have come up with for us.\n\n\n\n"SDCC 2017 - Sideshow Collectible’s Booth" (CC BY-SA 2.0) by W10002\n\n\nThis is one of those films that many of us have been dreaming of since the very first Iron Man, all those years ago, so the wait is excruciating. Luckily we have enough Marvel based media to help tide us over until these two finally come out. These cover enough for everyone’s taste, so if you’re like us you can check out some of the alternatives through online reviews and products to keep you happy. This includes checking out comic reviews to find some which work for you, or video games if they are more your style. There's so much choice thanks to the success of the film industry that they cover a much wider range than just these, as other sites like SlotsOnlineCanada.com review tons of movies themed online slots, or you can even try novelizations for those who want another angle on their film of choice.\n\nPacific Rim\nGiant robots. Monsters. The type of film which 3d was made for. We could go into depth on the amazing effects, the brilliant tone setting original by Guillermo del Toro, or the fantastic cast of established and upcoming actors, but do we really need to?\n\n\nThis is the sort of movie which the big screen was made for and the type for which 3d is not only a perfect fit but actually adds a great deal to the experience.\n\n\nWith Plenty More to Come\nSo there we have it, 3 soon to be released movies that any fan of eye-popping visuals can’t afford to miss. Remember the popcorn, lie back, and remember to keep calm. Nobody likes being the person who gets a fright at the jump out effects and gets laughed at. At least, as far as we know.
